INDONESIA CELEBRATES WORLD ACCREDITATION DAY

The theme for 2008 was "Trust".  Accreditation is now widely accepted as a valuable way to build trust between economies and societies around the world.  Accreditation also builds trust between consumers and the products and services they use.  Along with the commemoration of International Accreditaion Day on 9 June, the National Accreditation Body of Indonesia has carried out several activities related to this commemoration.,  Conformity assessment bodies were encouraged to celebrate International Accreditation Day by carrying out promotional activities that raised awareness of the significance of accreditation, by providing a promotional poster, advertisement in the newspaper etc. These promotional activities formed part of a contest, and the winner will be announced on 6 November 2008.
